Rather predictable result when second ranked Strasbourg U21 (14-4) defeated at home 6th ranked Le Portel (10-8) 73-66 on Saturday. Strasbourg U21 forced 20 Le Portel turnovers. Point guard Louis Rucklin (184-99) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Ludovic Beyhurst (172-99) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Strasbourg U21 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Cameroonian guard Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou (191-98) with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Mounir Bernaoui (204-97) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Strasbourg U21 have a solid three-game winning streak.
