The game between closely ranked teams ended with thirteenth ranked Rybnik's (6-15) home victory over 14th ranked Cracovia (3-17) 68-56 on Saturday. They outrebounded Cracovia 50-30 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Adam Bialdyga (198-87) who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Krzysztof Zielinski (192-82) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Rybnik's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Karol Sasnal (186-99) who recorded 14 points and 6 assists and guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Rybnik maintains thirteenth place in Group C with 6-15 record. Cracovia lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. Rybnik will face higher ranked Przemysl (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cracovia will play against Zaglebie (#5) and hope to win that game.
