Everything went according to plan when first ranked Cento (19-1) outscored on the road 11th ranked Lugo (8-12) 94-73 on Saturday. Cento made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Cento had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Nelson Rizzitiello (198-84) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian guard Adrian Chiera (190-94, agency: Interperformances) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Cento's coach Giovanni Benedetto felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Samuele Moretti (197-98, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Giacomo Filippini (204-91) scored 14 points. Five Cento and four Lugo players scored in double figures. Cento have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position in B with 19-1 record. Lugo lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Cento will face Olginate (#13) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Lugo will play against Lecco and hope to win that game.
