The game in Amsterdam was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Rotterdam (10-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Amsterdam (4-13). Rotterdam managed to secure a 7-point victory 91-84. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-14. But Amsterdam won second period 27-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Rotterdam won last quarter 24-18. Amsterdam was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Belgian point guard Ordane Kanda-Kanyinda (186-96) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Trevor Setty (203-89, college: Pikeville) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Rotterdam's coach Armand Salomon allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and Max Van-Schaik (210-91, agency: Court Side) added 19 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Amsterdam. Four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rotterdam. They maintain fifth place with 10-7 record. Amsterdam lost their third game in a row.
