The game in Amsterdam was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Rotterdam (10-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Amsterdam (4-13). Rotterdam managed to secure a 7-point victory 91-84. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-14. But Amsterdam won second period 27-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Trevor Setty (203-89, college: Pikeville) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Rotterdam's coach Armand Salomon allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and Max Van-Schaik (210-91, agency: Court Side) added 19 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Amsterdam. Four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rotterdam. They maintain fifth place with 10-7 record. Amsterdam lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. Rotterdam will play against higher ranked Zwolle (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Amsterdam will play against Weert and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
