Regular Season Round 16: Rapla - Kalev/Cramo 65-100

The game between Top Four teams took place in Rapla. 4th ranked host Rapla (10-8) was smashed by top-ranked Kalev/Cramo (18-0) 100-65. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kalev/Cramo outrebounded Rapla 42-26 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American-Bulgarian power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American point guard Isaiah Briscoe (191-96, college: Kentucky) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Kalev/Cramo's coach Donaldas Kairys felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Dominique Hawkins (183-94, college: Kentucky) replied with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and the former international forward Indrek Kajupank (200-88) added 13 points in the effort for Rapla. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive 18-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-0 record. Rapla at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost.
