Rather predictable result in Matsuyama where third ranked Orange Vikings (20-13) smashed 6th ranked Bambitious Nara (7-26) 90-69 on Saturday. Orange Vikings made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his eight free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and Vincentian power forward Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. At the losing side South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: Auburn) scored 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Orange Vikings maintains third position with 20-13 record behind leader Akita NH. Bambitious Nara lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 26 games lost. Orange Vikings will face again Bambitious Nara (#6) at home in the next round.
