Regular Season Round 17: JAS FBG - Basket Gdynia 70-98

The game between 11th ranked JAS FBG (3-13) and eighth ranked Basket Gdynia (9-7) in Sosnowiec on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Gdynia outscored JAS FBG 98-70. Coach Gundars Vetra's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Robyn Parks (183-92, college: VCU) answered with 26 points and 6 assists and the other American import point guard Ketia Swanier (170-86, college: Connecticut) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for JAS FBG. Basket Gdynia maintains eighth place with 9-7 record. JAS FBG lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Basket Gdynia will face league's second-placed Artego Bydg. in Bydgoszcz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JAS FBG will play on the road against Enea AZS P. (#9) in Poznan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
