The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Cazorla as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group D-A. Cazorla smashed 8th ranked Novaschool at home 80-56. The game without a history. Cazorla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Cazorla forced 23 Novaschool turnovers. American guard Quarry Greenaway (190, college: J.and Wales, RI) notched 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Jalen Riley (182-93, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Duran International) supported him with 18 points, 6 assists and 8 steals. Four Cazorla players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 14 rebounds by center Anastasio Vazquez (204-92) did not help to save the game for Novaschool. American forward Alex Jackson (200-84, college: Mo.-St.Louis) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Novaschool's coach Javier Florido gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Novaschool lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Novaschool will play next round against Andujar trying to get back on the winning streak. Cazorla will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Coin on the road.
