Regular Season Round 19: Limoges - Hyeres-Toulon 110-93

Very expected game when 16th ranked Hyeres-Toulon (7-12) lost on the road to fifth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (12-7) 110-93 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Limoges CSP Elite. Hyeres-Toulon was better in fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Limoges CSP Elite shot 62.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Limoges CSP Elite looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Quite impressive performance for international William Howard (202-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American point guard Kenny Hayes (186-87, college: Miami, OH, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (192-90, college: Santa Clara, agency: Athleadz) answered with 24 points and American-Armenian point guard Terry Smith (185-86, college: Mercyhurst) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Hyeres-Toulon. Five Limoges CSP Elite and four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Bourg. Hyeres-Toulon lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will face league's second-placed Le Mans on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Olympique Antibes (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
