There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked NPC Rieti (9-10) crushed at home higher ranked Viola RC (10-9) 84-64 on Sunday. NPC Rieti made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. NPC Rieti outrebounded Viola RC 43-24 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for American-Nigerian Jamal Olasewere (201-91, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Naturalized Argentinian point guard Marcos Casini (188-80) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. NPC Rieti's coach Luciano Nunzi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
