Regular Season Round 15: Pula C.Tours - Sibenik 82-66

Rather predictable result when third ranked Pula C.Tours (9-5) defeated at home 7th ranked Sibenik (6-8) 82-66. It looked good early as Sibenik took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Pula C.Tours had a 27-12 second period charge getting the lead and Sibenik was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-82. Pula C.Tours players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for center Katarina Trehub (191-97) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international guard Lana Packovski (170-94) accounted for 17 points and 9 assists for the winning side. Four Pula C.Tours players scored in double figures. Klaudija Perisa (180-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Sanda Tosic (176-86) added 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals respectively for Sibenik in the defeat. Pula C.Tours have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 9-5 record having four points less than leader Tresnjevka. Sibenik at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Pula C.Tours will play against ZKK Split (#4) on the road in the next round. Sibenik will play against KK Zadar (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
