Very predictable result when first ranked San Severo (19-1) smashed on the road 15th ranked Perugia (4-16) 87-62 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ivan Scarponi (198-86, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and forward Emidio Di-Donato (198-92) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four San Severo players scored in double figures. Joseph Mobio (199-97) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Edoardo Casuscelli (180-89) scored 11 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Severo maintains first position in B with 19-1 record, which they share with Cento. Loser Perugia keeps the fifteenth place with 16 games lost. San Severo will face Bisceglie (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Perugia will play against Civitanova (#6) and hope to win that game.
