Regular Season Round 22: Fyllingen BBK - Centrum 122-86

Very expected game when 10th ranked Centrum (1-22) was crushed on the road by third ranked Fyllingen BBK (14-10) 122-86. Fyllingen BBK dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum's 44 and made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Centrum 52-31 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fyllingen BBK players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists. Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Five Fyllingen BBK players scored in double figures. Fyllingen BBK's coach Tore Ervik felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) replied with 27 points and guard Johan Flaa (183-99) added 16 points in the effort for Centrum. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK maintains third position with 14-10 record having eight points less than leader Asker Aliens. Centrum lost thirteenth consecutive game. Defending champion stay dead last with 22 lost games. Fyllingen BBK will have a break next round. Centrum will play at home against Tromso (#7) and hope to win that game.
