An interesting game took place in Tel-Aviv where higher ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (9-7) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Bnei Hasharon (5-11) 98-90. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Tel-Aviv. The guests were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-22 Hapoel Tel-Aviv's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 98-90 at the end of the game. Bnei Hasharon made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Bnei Hasharon players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jeff Adrien (201-86, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import guard Brandon Triche (193-91, college: Syracuse) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Jerel McNeal (190-87, college: Marquette) replied with 25 points and naturalized American Adrian Banks (191-86, college: Arkansas St.) added 22 points in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Five Bnei Hasharon and four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Ironi Nes-Ziona. Hapoel Tel-Aviv at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Bnei Hasharon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hapoel Eilat (#9) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against Galil Gilboa (#6) in Rosh Pina and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
