Regular Season Round 21: Otmuchow - Stal II Ostrow 67-81

Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Otmuchow (5-16) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Stal II Ostrow (14-7) 81-67 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Lukasz Wojciechowski (184-88) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Mikolaj Spala (189-93) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Stal II Ostrow players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Michal Zygadlo (190-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Michal Krawiec (195-97) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Otmuchow's coach let to play ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Stal II Ostrow. They maintain fourth place in Group D with 14-7 record. Otmuchow lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Stal II Ostrow will face league's leader Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Otmuchow will play on the road against WKK Wroclaw (#7) and hope to win that game.
