Quite impressive performance for Serbian forward Stefan Nikolic (203-97) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. American guard Elston Turner (195-90, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Devin Ebanks (206-89, college: W.Virginia) answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds and forward Giovanni Vildera (205-95) added 11 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Mens Sana 1871. Newly promoted Cuore Napoli maintains sixteenth place in A2 with 3-15 record. Loser Mens Sana 1871 dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Cuore Napoli will face higher ranked Lighthouse TRP (#6) in Trapani in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
