The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Germani BR (13-5) in Brescia on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Dolomiti En. TR (8-10) 78-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Germani BR. It was a good game for American power forward Dustin Hogue (198-92, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Andres Forray (187-86) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Dolomiti En. TR players scored in double figures. American forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Germani BR. Dolomiti En. TR maintains tenth position with 8-10 record, which they share with Grissin Bon RE. Germani BR at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Dolomiti En. TR is looking forward to face higher ranked MIA-RO Cantu (#8) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Germani BR will play against Openjobmetis VA (#12) in Varese and is hoping to win this game.
