Regular Season Round 19: Le Mans - Monaco 94-85

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Monaco (14-5) on the court of third ranked Le Mans on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Le Mans 94-85. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 32-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American swingman Christopher Evans (203-91, college: Kent St.) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-88, agency: BeoBasket) added 24 points in the effort for Monaco. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Le Mans (13-6) moved-up to second place, which they share with Strasbourg. Monaco at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Le Mans is looking forward to face Limoges CSP Elite (#4) at home in the next round. Monaco will play against Gravelines-Dunkerque and is hoping to win this game.
