Regular Season Round 20: Recanati - Civitanova 87-64

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Recanati (14-6) outscored at home 6th ranked Civitanova (11-9) 87-64 on Sunday. Recanati shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Giacomo Gurini (192-84) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and naturalized Senegalese power forward Yande Fall (203-90, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Recanati players scored in double figures. Forward Riccardo Coviello (195-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and guard Lorenzo Andreani (183-87) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Recanati maintains second position in B with 14-6 record having five points less than leader San Severo. Newly promoted Civitanova keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Recanati will face Campli (#5) on the road in the next round. Civitanova will play against Perugia and hope to win that game.
