Regular Season Round 23: Pruszkow - Biofarm PZN 88-90

A very interesting game took place in Pruszkow. It ended with only two-point home defeat of higher ranked Pruszkow (11-11) to eleventh ranked Biofarm PZN (9-12) 90-88 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pruszkow. Biofarm PZN made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) who scored 19 points and 8 assists. Swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Five Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Tomasz Madziar (195-92) produced 15 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Mateusz Jarmakowicz (208-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Pruszkow's coach Marek Zapalowski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Biofarm PZN moved-up to ninth place. Pruszkow at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Biofarm PZN's next round opponent will be higher ranked R8 Krakow (#5) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
