Regular Season Round 19: King - Miasto Szkla 101-96

There was no surprise in Szczecin where 14th ranked Miasto Szkla (6-13) was defeated by seventh ranked Wilki Morskie (12-9) 101-96 on Monday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Wilki Morskie made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Miasto Szkla turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 4 assists. Lithuanian Martynas Paliukenas (191-93) helped adding 19 points and 6 steals. At the losing side Croatian guard Jakov Mustapic (193-94) responded with 26 points and point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-93) scored 11 points and 8 assists. Five Wilki Morskie and four Miasto Szkla players scored in double figures. Wilki Morskie moved-up to sixth place. Miasto Szkla lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Wilki Morskie will meet Rosa (#10) in the next round. Miasto Szkla will play against BM Slam Stal (#7) in Ostrow Wlkp. and hope to secure a win.
