Regular Season Round 22: MKS DG 2 - Wisla Krakow 89-90

The most exciting game of round 22 in the 2Liga took place in Dabrowa Gornicza. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 7th ranked MKS DG 2 (10-11) to fourth ranked Wisla Krakow (13-9) 90-89 on Tuesday evening. Wisla Krakow made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized French Kamil Czajkowski (200-93) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Jan Rerak (198-97) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Adam Skiba (182-99) replied with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Patryk Piszczatowski (190-98) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for MKS DG 2. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Wisla Krakow have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in Group C with 13-9 record. MKS DG 2 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. Wisla Krakow are looking forward to face Bielsko-Biala (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. MKS DG 2 will play against MCKiS Jaworz. in Jaworzno and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
