A very interesting game took place in Hod Hasharon. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 11th ranked Hasharon (6-11) to seventh ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (9-8) 75-72 on Tuesday evening. Hap.R/G Givat. made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) nailed 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import Robert Glenn (203-88, college: IUPUI) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds. Yotam Shiran (198-90) came up with 24 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Hasharon in the defeat. Hap.R/G Givat. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Maccabi Raanana. Hasharon at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Hap.R/G Givat.'s next round opponent will be Hapoel Migd.H. (#13) in Tarshicha and are hoping to win another game. Hasharon will play on the road against Hapoel Kfar Saba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
