Regular Season Round 20: BC Lulea - Boras 81-71

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Lulea. First ranked BC Lulea faced 3rd ranked Boras Basket. Host BC Lulea (16-4) defeated guests from Boras (11-9) 81-71. The game was mostly controlled by BC Lulea. Boras Basket was better in third quarter 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Boras Basket 39-25 including 31 on the defensive glass. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 9 assists. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) replied with 16 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Brett Bisping (203-93, college: Siena, agency: Duran International) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Boras Basket. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-4 record. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the third place with nine games lost. BC Lulea will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boras Basket will play on the road against KFUM Jamtland in Ostersund and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
