There was no surprise when 11th ranked Lugo (8-13) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Lecco (14-7) 79-72 on Wednesday. Lecco forced 21 Lugo turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Jacopo Balanzoni (204-93, agency: Interperformances) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Brandon Solazzi (190-97, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Luca Valentini (189-97) who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds and forward Tommaso Gatto (204-96, agency: Players Group) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Lugo players scored in double figures. Lecco maintains fourth place in B with 14-7 record, which they share with Faenza. Lugo lost fourth consecutive game.
