Everything went according to plan when thirteenth ranked Unieuro Forli (8-12) beat on the road 16th ranked Roseto Sharks (3-17) 92-85 on Wednesday. Roseto Sharks were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Riccardo Castelli (200-88, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds and Israeli point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85) who added 16 points during the contest. Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and naturalized American point guard Matt Carlino (189-92, college: Marquette, agency: Players Group) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Five Unieuro Forli and four Roseto Sharks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Unieuro Forli moved-up to twelfth place in A2. Loser Roseto Sharks keep the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. Unieuro Forli will face higher ranked Montegrano (#5) in Montenegrano in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
