Top ranked San Severo (19-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Bisceglie (13-8) 82-73. Bisceglie shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Edoardo Di-Emidio (190-93) who scored 14 points and 6 assists. Point guard Simone Bonfiglio (181-88, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four Bisceglie players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who recorded 30 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Riccardo Bottioni (178-93) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively. Bisceglie maintains third place in B with 13-8 record having six points less than leader San Severo, which they share with Vicenza. San Severo at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Bisceglie is looking forward to face Fabriano (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
