Regular Season Round 23: Asker Aliens - Baerum Basket 82-92

Very important is a home loss of first ranked Asker Aliens (23-3) against fourth ranked Baerum Basket (14-11) on Wednesday night. Host Asker Aliens were defeated by Baerum Basket in Asker 92-82. The game was mostly controlled by Baerum Basket. Asker Aliens managed to win third quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for guard Stian Mjos (183-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Canadian guard Keith Omoerah (194-92) helped adding 13 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Joshua Hart (194-90, college: Va Intermont) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and DR Congolese forward Djo Yele (203-82) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Baerum Basket have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 14-11 record. Asker Aliens lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
