There was an upset when higher ranked Senigallia (11-10) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Cerignola Udas (7-14) 75-68 on Thursday. Cerignola Udas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Gianluca Tredici (198-92) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Oleksandr Kushchev (201-90) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) who recorded 24 points and naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (184-83, agency: Players Group) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively. Cerignola Udas moved-up to thirteenth place in B, which they share with Olginate. Loser Senigallia dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Cerignola Udas will face league's leader San Severo at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
