Rather expected game when 14th ranked Patti (5-16) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Roma Tiber (9-11) 76-68 on Thursday. Roma Tiber forced 19 Patti turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Patti's players. The best player for the winners was guard Daniele Ricciardi (184-81) who scored 17 points and 8 assists. Matteo Santucci (193-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 24 points. Four Roma Tiber players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Antonino Sidoti (182-93) who recorded 17 points and 6 assists and swingman Luca Fowler (192-96) added 21 points respectively. Roma Tiber moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser Patti keeps the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Roma Tiber will face higher ranked Salerno (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
