Eighth-ranked Union de Sunchales (2-15) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Suardi (7-9) on Friday. Suardi managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94. However their fans expected easier game. Suardi looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Cristian Cadillac (193-83) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Guard Agustin Pautasso (192-97) contributed with 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Suardi players scored in double figures. Center Lucas Martina (201-80) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Mariano Cerutti (-79) added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Union de Sunchales. Newly promoted Suardi maintains sixth place with 7-9 record, which they share with SP Las Parejas. Union de Sunchales lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. Suardi will have a break next round. Union de Sunchales will play at home against Atletico Tostado (#3) and hope to win that game.
