We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Leon where 12th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (8-12) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Cambados (8-12) 101-94 on Friday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Agustinos-Leclerc won fourth quarter 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cambados shot 60.9 percent from the field and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Cambados outrebounded Agustinos-Leclerc 35-23 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Argentinian guard Juan-Martin Orellano (190-89) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. British forward Will Saunders (201-91, college: Charleston So.) chipped in 25 points. American swingman Andre Norris (201-94, college: Dubuque, agency: Two Points) produced 30 points and guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Five Cambados and four Agustinos-Leclerc players scored in double figures. Cambados moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Agustinos-Leclerc and Plasencia. Agustinos-Leclerc lost third consecutive game. Cambados will face higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (#5) in Avila in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
