Very expected game when 11th ranked Cagliari CUS (5-14) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked Scrivia (13-6) 66-34 on Saturday. Scrivia outrebounded Cagliari CUS 43-30 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Scrivia made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for guard Sara Giangrasso (176-0) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Licia Corradini (172-85, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 4 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Eugenia Caldaro (178-96) answered with 10 points and point guard Rachele Niola (172-93) added 4 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Cagliari CUS.
