Regular Season Round 21: Leiden - Den Bosch 79-61

An interesting game for Leiden (15-4) which hosted in Leiden second-best Den Bosch (13-4). Third ranked Leiden had an easy win 79-61. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Den Bosch. The game without a history. Leiden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for international Worthy de-Jong (194-88) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American guard Carrington Love (186-94, college: Green Bay) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Leiden players scored in double figures. British V.Islands forward Norville Carey (201-93, college: Rider, agency: Slash Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Den Bosch. Leiden moved-up to second place. Den Bosch at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Leiden will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Den Bosch will play at home against Amsterdam and is hoping to win this game.
