The game between closely ranked teams ended with T71's (12-8) home victory over Musel Pikes (10-10) 93-83 on Saturday. T71 looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Musel Pikes' players. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Denell Stephens (190-86, college: Slippery Rock) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Canadian Tyrell Green (201-95, college: UNLV) added 24 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five T71 and four Musel Pikes players scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
