Very important is a road loss of second ranked Twarde Pierniki (15-6) against ninth ranked PGE Turow (12-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Twarde Pierniki was defeated by PGE Turow in a tough game in Zgorzelec 88-97. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Twarde Pierniki. PGE Turow players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Brad Waldow (208-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Cameron Ayers (196-91, college: Bucknell) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: 3Eye) responded with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and international Aaron Cel (203-87) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Five Twarde Pierniki players scored in double figures. PGE Turow moved-up to seventh place, which they share with King. Twarde Pierniki at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. PGE Turow will play against Wilki Morskie (#8) in Szczecin in the next round. Twarde Pierniki will play at home against Czarni (#16) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
