Round 23 in EBA means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Vic where host Vic (13-3) edged league's leader Pardinyes-L. (12-4) 70-67 on Saturday evening. It was a key game for the top position in Group C-B. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 38-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Pardinyes-L. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was point guard Julian Garrote (185-82) who scored 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Power forward Samuel Dominguez (204-91, college: La Palma) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Vic players scored in double figures.
