Round 20 in LEB Silver means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Morón de la Frontera where host Moron (11-10) beat league's leader HLA Alicante (14-6) 78-74 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of HLA Alicante. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 21-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Jose Jimenez (197-96) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Kingsley Obiekwe (196-94, college: NE Oklahoma A&M CC) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Alvaro Lobo (192-92, agency: Duran International) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four HLA Alicante players scored in double figures. HLA Alicante's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Moron moved-up to seventh place. HLA Alicante at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by La Roda. HLA Alicante will play next round against Agustinos-Leclerc trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Moron will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Plasencia on the road.
