The game in Goteborg was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked AIK Basket (14-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Hogsbo (7-10). AIK Basket managed to secure a 5-point victory 92-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hogsbo. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hogsbo won third quarter 26-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AIK Basket forced 21 Hogsbo turnovers. Strangely Hogsbo outrebounded AIK Basket 124-79 including a 46-30 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 39 assists comparing to just 25 passes made by Hogsbo's players. AIK Basket brought some defensive toughness making 106 blocks. Hogsbo was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian Lazar Radosavljevic (204-91, agency: Alti Sport) nailed 20 points for the winning side and guard Henos Kidane (193-94) accounted for 16 points. Four AIK Basket players scored in double figures. Forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and guard Jacob Johansson (195-95) added 26 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Hogsbo in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for AIK Basket. They moved-up to third place. Hogsbo at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. AIK Basket will play against Trelleborg (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hogsbo will play against the league's second-placed Djurgarden and hopes to get back on the winning track.
