Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Mataro Parc Boet (8-8) was defeated on the road by second ranked Girona Basquet (12-4) 88-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-71. Girona Basquet dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Mataro Parc Boet's 28.
