Regular Season Round 19: Pordenone - Milano 51-65

Date: February 10, 2018
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Milano (13-6) beat on the road 13th ranked Pordenone (5-14) 65-51 on Saturday. They outrebounded Pordenone 46-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for guard Giulia Rossi (168-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Martina Picotti (184-90) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. International power forward Sara Madera (186-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Latvian power forward Laura Meldere (188-1) added 5 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Pordenone. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Milano maintains sixth place in A2 with 13-6 record. Loser Pordenone keeps the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Milano will face Cagliari CUS (#11) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pordenone will play against Albino and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
