Regular Season Round 22: Lubin - Nowa Sol 65-82

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Lubin (3-19) lost at home to tenth ranked Nowa Sol (9-13) 82-65 on Saturday. Nowa Sol forced 19 Lubin turnovers. Quite impressive performance for Jakub Der (192-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 30 points. Artur Cielma contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Nowa Sol players scored in double figures. Forward Damian Szablewski (191-91) replied with 19 points and Karol Wisniewski (195-94) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Lubin. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Nowa Sol have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place in Group D, which they share with Rawia and AZS PCz. Lubin lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. Nowa Sol will face Gimbasket WRC (#11) in Wroclaw in the next round. Lubin will play on the road against AZS PCz in Czestochowa and hope to win that game.
