Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Luxembourg: Racing (#1) and Contern (#3). Racing (8-12) won against visiting Contern (6-14) 76-67. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Contern's 22. American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-89, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Jaylen Bland (190-93, college: Cal-Riverside) replied with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Xavier Ford (201-93, college: Buffalo) added 16 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Contern. Racing will play against Arantia in Larochette in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Contern will play at home against T.Hesperange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
