Eleventh-ranked Plasencia (8-12) made lots of trouble for third ranked CB Granada (15-5). CB Granada managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected much easier game. Plasencia was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 20-16 charge of CB Granada, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Plasencia 53-27 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Plasencia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by power forward Devin Wright (202-86) who scored that evening 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Alejandro Marin (190-88) supported him with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Adrian Fuentes (183-87) did not help to save the game for Plasencia. Guard Fernando Sierra (194-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 12 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CB Granada keeps a position of league leader, which they share with La Roda. Newly promoted Plasencia keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost.
