Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Kvarner (7-6) and Graficar (4-9), which took place in Ludberg. Higher ranked Kvarner lost to tenth ranked Graficar in a road game 89-104 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kvarner. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 104-89. Power forward Matija Novak (199-81) nailed 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Luka Prpovic (195-90) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Dino Samanic (190-94) came up with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Mate Vucic (203-97) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Kvarner in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kvarner's coach tested eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Graficar moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Sanac. Loser Kvarner dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Graficar will meet higher ranked Istrauni (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kvarner will play against Pula 1981 and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the Premijer Liga just one year after relegation.
