Rather predictable result in Tucuman where tenth ranked Mitre Tuc. (12-12) smashed 13th ranked Echague (10-15) 91-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Mitre Tuc. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Mitre Tuc. had a 34-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Mitre Tuc. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Echague's players. The best for the losing side was American forward Jamell Cornley (196-87, college: Penn St.) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Sebastian Cabello (202-82) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Mitre Tuc. have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place in North. Loser Echague dropped to the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Mitre Tuc. will have a break next round. Echague will play at home against BHY Tiro Federal (#5) and hope to win that game.
