Regular Season Round 4: Taiyuan T. - Taipower 65-48

An interesting game for Taiyuan Textile (7-4) which played against 4th ranked Taipower (0-11). Second ranked Taiyuan Textile had an easy win 65-48. Taiyuan Textile dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Taipower's 24. They outrebounded Taipower 52-36 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (172-91) contributed with 18 points for the winners. The former international guard Hsien-Fang Lin (168-91) replied with 24 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Chia-Wen Kuo (169-93) added 15 points in the effort for Taipower. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiyuan Textile maintains second position with 7-4 record having just three points less than leader Cathay Life. Taipower at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Taiyuan Textile are looking forward to face league's leader Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taipower will play against Chunghwa Telecom and hopes to get finally their first victory.
