The best for the losing side was American forward Demitrius Conger (196-90, college: St.Bonaventure) with 27 points and international power forward Nick Kay (206-92, college: Metro St.) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Illawarra Hawks' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Adelaide 36ers maintains second position with 17-10 record having just one point less than leader United. Illawarra Hawks lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 16 games lost. Adelaide 36ers will face Bullets (#7) in Brisbane in the next round where they are favorite. Illawarra Hawks will play on the road against the league's leader United in Melbourne and hope to win that game.
