Regular Season Round 22: Valmontone - Scauri 82-90

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Scauri (10-12) defeated on the road higher ranked Valmontone (16-6) 90-82 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for forward Davide Serino (199-81) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Simone Manzo (179-98) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) added 21 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Valmontone. Five Scauri and four Valmontone players scored in double figures. Scauri moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Desio and Padova. Loser Valmontone keeps the third position with six games lost. Scauri will face Patti (#14) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Valmontone will play against Capo d'Orlando (#8) and hope to win that game.
