Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Cerignola Udas (7-15) lost at home to first ranked San Severo (20-2) 74-67 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for point guard Riccardo Bottioni (178-93) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four San Severo players scored in double figures. The former international guard Gennaro Tessitore (189-82) replied with 18 points and 5 assists and Oleksandr Kushchev (201-90) added 13 points in the effort for Cerignola Udas. San Severo maintains first position in B with 20-2 record, which they share with Cento. Newly promoted Cerignola Udas dropped to the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. San Severo will face Giulianova (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cerignola Udas will play against Matera and hope to win that game.
